So Here's To Another Better Year

This song has been playing in my mind for the past couple of days and I enjoy the song and its "catchy" lyrics. This song is also being featured in honor of A Day To Remember's special edition release of their CD Homesick. So today's song of the day is NJ Legion Iced Tea by A Day To Remember. (Awesome song name.)

I Mean It When I Tell You That I Need You

Nine months have gone by since I started dating Felicia back in January and it has been a good nine months thus far. I've spent the past three days with her, two of the last which have been sitting at her house watching "new to us" movies. It's been a great few days spending time with her. Drop Another Line Like The Coda With A Curse...

Well, I haven't really been posting as of late. Two things have been controlling my life as of late, one of them in a major way: work (&) school. The song I chose, though surprisingly raunchy, is catchy and at least sounds happy, haha. So enjoy this catchy one-hit-wonder: Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind.

Oh Hear Our Songs...

This song has been stuck in my head all day and the singer's voice is amazing and I like it so there. Song of the day has just been dished out. Take or leave Young Cardinals by Alexisonfire.

P.S. It's raining right now for like the first time in a year! (Which is what I tried illustrating in the picture of the day.)

Everybody Wants A Second Chance

Yeah...I chose this song... Deal with it. XD I worked almost every waking moment this weekend. I guess I can't complain. I'm getting paid for it and it gave me something to do. Enjoy Everybody's Working For The Weekend by Loverboy.

You Got It Tough...I Know Just How You Feel...

Today's post is more for Felicia than for myself, although today was slightly busy for me as well. Today was very busy for her and I wanted to help in some way, though music on my blog might not be very helpful to her. I chose this song because it's very inspirational and it has the mentality of "don't give up, times get tough, they'll get better." So this one's for you Felicia. At least take a listen to Jump by Van Halen.

So Here We Are Again, To Make Sense Of It All

To celebrate the release of Blessthefall's new CD entitled "Witness," I figured I'd put one of their tracks onto the page (will probably be an often occurrence for new releases on Tuesdays). The problem, however, is that many people don't like screaming music. Luckily, with this being one of my favorite songs, it conveniently also contains no screaming in it. Today was pretty sweet, on an unrelated note (I guess). Had a fifteen minute Political Science midterm and didn't have to go to Geography today, so I got to relax on my other day off before work tomorrow. Enjoy the new release of their CD with Hey Baby, Here's That Song You Wanted by Blessthefall.

When We Kiss They're Perfectly Aligned...

The past couple of days have been pretty hectic with working almost non-stop with the breaks for sleeping. That's why it was soooo nice to finish yesterday and immediately go and spend time with Felicia. It was an end of a weekend so good that it made the tiring weekend seem like a borderline blast. Being with her makes my worries go away. I chose this song because the frantic buildup of the song can easily relate to frantic buildup of the weekend that wasn't so relaxing. The lyrics remind me of my thoughts of getting to spend time with Felicia and waiting to spend time with her all the while the craziness surrounding both the music and my thoughts. And, finally, the simplicity of the beginning and the ending of the song remind me of the quietness and pleasant time actually being spent not caught up in work. Complex enough for you? :P Enjoy the simplicity hidden behind the complexity of Such Great Heights by The Postal Service.

Ring Out The Bells Again Like We Did When Spring Began

I know, I know... very, very, VERY cheesy. However, I mostly chose this song to praise the end of September. I mean, September seemed like it went on forever! I'm super happy that it's finally over. I mean, this week alone felt like a month in itself. So, though this song is about a father dying, I chose it because I've been wanting the month to be over with it since it began. So join with me in the celebration of the end of September with: Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day.
