Sing Songs Out of Key

This song is mostly just being put up because LoveHateHero's new CD (America Underwater) came out today. This is my favorite track on it so far. It sounds happy for the most part and it reminds me of spending time with awesome people and having a fun spending time with them. This also somewhat reflected me hanging out with my friend Sal today, just driving around town, chilling and whatnot on my one day off of work in between day and night classes. At The Bottom Of The Sea...

It's unfortunate how I started up this blog to report the exciting things that have been going on in my life and as soon as I start it up, the exciting factor dies down. Alas, these slow couple of weeks have pretty much turned into the most played song of the day which, I guess works out when nothing exciting happens. Slow Week In Reporting

Well...since there hasn't been much to report this week other than having some time off, I'll leave you all with a filler of my Senior year High School drumline show. Enjoy!

It's So Surreal

Today was pretty kick back. I spent the entire morning/early afternoon just kind of sitting around the house. The rest of the day was well spent with Felicia and her family for pizza night. We hung out and watched some of season five of The Office. It was pretty relaxed. I chose this song partially (well...I guess mostly) because of my friend Sal singing it in a humorous fashion yesterday and has been stuck in my head all day today. Another reason is because I spent a good chunk of time hanging out with Felicia which hasn't really happened in a while. So take it as you want it, Hero/Heroine by Boys Like Girls.

We Felt Alive

I chose this song for today mainly due to the fun day I had today. I had a blast hanging with my friends today, mostly because I haven't really hung out with them to that certain caliber in a really long time and tonight just happened to be one of those nights that I will remember when I look back on my youth (which apparently will be coming too soon.) Anyways, I hope you enjoy my joy with Here's To The Night by Eve 6.

Hello bloggers who've accidentally stumbled upon this sight. Let me introduce myself. I'm Nick, an 18 year-old who's decided that the actual term "blog" is something more than a myspace or facebook page. My blog is called Anthem of the day because...well, I guess it might be self explanatory. If it isn't, I'll tell you that the names origins stem from my love of music and how certain songs remind me of certain situations. So, with thus being said, every update should be a different song describing, in my opinion, what has happened to cause a song to be bestowed upon a day and/or event.
